When a divorce forced Maranda to drop out of nursing school, she took a low-paying position as the assistant manager of a convenience store to help support her four children. Unhappy with her work, she applied for a help desk position at Onshore, interviewed and got the job. But not the one she expected.
Maranda’s enthusiasm and outgoing personality were so impressive she was offered a Lead Generation Agent position. Like a brand ambassador, Maranda’s job was to spread the word about Onshore—the work, the mission, the culture and the team.
This was in December 2015 and today Maranda is still telling people from all kinds of backgrounds, cultures and countries the Onshore story. She’s enthusiastic about helping them better their lives and excited about her career opportunities in the years ahead.
